Nasorpresa ang magandang Country-singer na si Taylor Swift nang tanggapin nya ang award bilang "Best Female Video" sa MTV Video Awards kahapon. Natalo ni Swift sa award na ito ang mga may malalaking pangalan sa Hollywood na sina Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Pink. at Beyonce. Habang pinasasalamatan na nya ang MTV Awards, walang galang na sumugod sa entablado ang rapper na si Kanye West.Inagaw nito ang mikropono kay Swift at walang kaabog abog na sinabi na: Taylor, "I'm Happy for you but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!" na ikinagalit ng mga tao at fans na nanonood sa awards night na iyon. Malakas na boo ang tinanggap ng rapper. Walang nagawa si Swift kundi ang tumayo na lang hawak hawak ang kanyang trophy habang ang mga camera naman ay nakafocus din kay Beyonce' na nagulat din sa asal hayop na ipinakita ni West kay Swift saka naputol ang program sa commercial break na ito. Pinalayas sa awards night si Kanye West at napaiyak naman sa backstage si Swift dahil sa mga nangyari.
Nang manalo namang Video of the Year si Beyonce', tinawag nito si Swift sa stage para tapusin nito ang naistorbo nyang speech. Nagyakapan ang dalawa. Sinimulan ni Beyonce' ang kanyang speech na 17 lang daw sya nang manalo ng first time at nasa Destiny's child pa daw sya noon kaya alam nya kung gaano ka excited ang manalo ng award.
Humingi na ng apology sa kanyang blog si Kanye: "I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment," he wrote in part. "Beyonce's video was the best of this decade... I will apologize to Taylor."

At least Taylor won an award, what have do done in the last year except make an ass of yourself. If you wanted Beyonce to win then maybe you should join the judging panel. Congrats to Beyonce for bringing Taylor back out to say her thank yous and congrats to Taylor...you rock girl and don't let assholes like Mr. West get you down cause they have no idea what they are talking about!

Or maybe he needs therapy, I don’t know, point is he needs to stop doing this to other artists. We get he’s outspoken, but now he’s just being a complete ass.

Kanye has always been the biggest moron in the music industry. What he did was inappropriate, unclassy and rude. He thinks that just because he’s given the chance to shine with his music he should be allowed to do whatever he wants but that’s not the case. He’s lost alot of fans just like Chris Brown. Thank goodness Taylor handled the situation like a lady because if I was Taylor I would have kicked him in the balls.

Kanye is disliked because his ego is huge, hes an ass, talks way too much especially about himself and thinks he deseves something which he doesn’t. I am not big fans of either especially Kanye because personally I dont think hip hop is good music…unfortunatley a lot of others do. And off topic but still about vma’s , I like beyonce but her husband jay-z is a racist egomaniac. did beyonce not look shocked but pleased when kanye did that? she didn’t exactly look horrifed when it happened. to me, she looked happily surprised actually, laughing and all. if someone were truly appalled by his actions their expression would show it.
